19 years of playing Tom & Jerry stunts
26 years of camaraderie , oh what fun !
Love interruptions , ergo
some egos and fights.
melange of episodes of care and sacrifice.
Some truths and some inevitable lies,
bonding us together nonetheless with lots of smiles..
We changed, evolved as we welcomed two souls,
who made us complete , and our life ?
Well ! It is still on a roll !!
Happiness and days of forgive and forget,
our patience and perseverance which we don’t regret!
You are my solace, you are my pride.
You are the reason my day dawns and there is light.
You infuse life in me through your tea each dawn.
You are my breezy shade for all the scorching times
You are my dream catcher,
a soothing balm to all my pains..
You let go ~ ignore my flaws ~gulp down my irks and yet just smile.
I am fortuitous to have you in my life.
If , the next birth awaits ..
I want you back and back yet again ..

And now for our (optional) prompt. Today, I’d like to challenge you to write a poem in the form of a review. But not a review of a book or a movie of a restaurant. Instead, I challenge you to write a poetic review of something that isn’t normally reviewed. For example, your mother-in-law, the moon, or the year 2020 (I think many of us have some thoughts on that one!)
